In 2015, the Barden Bellas, led by Beca Mitchell and Chloe Beale, face a major setback after a scandalous incident involving “Fat Amy” results in their suspension from the ICCAs. To regain their reputation, the Bellas strike a deal: they must win the A Cappella World Championship. Meanwhile, freshman Emily Junk aspires to join the Bellas and be like her mother, a former member.
